 Expanding further on the Joseph Cook of Greene Co GA referenced in the previous blog post

It appears that the Joseph Cook of Green Co(GA) had land dealings with Milly Mann. As referenced on page 77 of the book in the source listed below.

An index listing of the above mentioned land with an additional note that it was recorded 24th Feb 1800.in Book AAB pg 276.

This raises more questions and I need to find the Deed Book mentioned above in which it was recorded.

This almost sounds like a quit claim.  

Shem Cook land in Jackson Co. GA(1802)

Tax Collector's Sale
On Tuesday the 28th of September next,
will be sold at the Court-house in
Jackson County, between the hours of
10 and 2 o'clock, to satisfy an ar-
rearage of Taxes for the year: 1786,
1787, 1788, 1789, 1790, 1791, 1792,
1793, 1794, 1795, 1796, 1797, 1798
and 1799.

A valuable Tract of Land,
containing 690 acres, lying on the
Walnut fork of the Oconee river, in
the said county, originally surveyed to
Shem Cook, and afterwards grant-
ed to the heirs of the said Cook.--
The amount of taxes is 27 dollars and
50 cents.

The Heirs of the said
Shem Cook, or their Executors, Ad-
ministrators or Assigns, are hereby
notified, that the aforesaid lands will
then be sold, for the payment of the
above Taxes and contingent expenses,
unless the same shall be previously paid.

Wow! September looks like it will be a great month for genealogy. This is what I've heard so far.

MyHeritage:

• 1.3 billion census records for free from September 1 through September 8, 2021.
• Improvements to their online tree layout. Read more here!
• Improvements to their colorization tool.
• September Webinars from MyHeritage

FTDNA:

• FTDNA announced the MyOrigins Chromosome Painter for Family Finder.
• Other improvements coming soon to FTDNA are "exact matches" filter as search option, Updating Family Finder match dates to original match date, and the ability to accept the new raw Data format of the AncestryDNA uploads/autosomal transfers.

Ancestry.com:

Always check all copies of records which have been filmed multiple times.

This example from Union Co SC records(Will of James Prince--recorded 28th of September 1789) shows the value of checking BOTH copies of microfilmed records.

The catalog listing makes it appear that this is an earlier listing done by SC Dept. of Archives and History.  Image 4 of 174 makes it clear that it is not a filming by SC Dept. of Archives and History with the following notice:

"This microfilm is not an official publication of the South Carolina Department of Archives and History.  All Queries concerning this film should be addressed to the Genealogical Society of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

50 East North Temple Street,

Salt Lake City, Utah 84150."

So in this case the earlier filming was more legible and contained the missing or covered left lower corner.  Regardless, the answer of which of the film to check when there are multiple filmings of the same records is ALL.
