Jo COOK et als To G W TURNER
FOR and in consideration of the sum of $75.00, Seventy Dollars, cash in hand paid the
receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, we, Jo Cook and Dock Cook and Bosh Lamb and wife
Pirl Lamb so transfer and convey unto the said G. W. Turner and his heirs and assigns a
certain tract or parcel of land in Bedford County, and being 9 Civil District, State of
Tennessee and more particularly described as follows to-wit: Known as our papa's interest
in the W. C. Cook land, his father's land, and his interest in hit(sic) which he sold some years
back to G. W. Turner and failed to make him a deed for hit(sic), bounded as follows: On east
by Angeline Cook and north by Jim Cotton, on the west by the land of the Cook heirs; south
by Mis Johnson, containing four acres.

To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land, with the appurtenances, estate,
title and interest thereto belonging to the said G. W. Turner, his heirs and assigns,
forever. And we do covenant with the said G. W. Turner that we are lawfully seized and
possessed of said land in fee simple; have a good right to convey it, and the same is unen-
cumbered.

And we do further covenant and bind ourself, our heirs and representatives, to warrant
and forever defend the title to the said G. W. Turner his heirs and assigns against the
lawful claims of all persons whomsoever

Witness our hands this 22nd day of January, 1910

Personally appeared before me W. D. Farmer Farmer, a notary public public in and for said
county and state, the within named A. G. Lamb and wife, Pearl Lamb, the bargainers, with whom
I am personally acquainted, and who acknowledged that they executed the within annexed in-
strument for the purposes therein contained. And Pearl Lamb, wife of the said A. G. Lamb,
having personally appeared before me, privately and apart from her husband, the said Pearl
Lamb acknowledged the execution of said deed to have been done by her freely, voluntarily
and understandingly, without compulsion or constraint from her said husband and for the
purposes therein expressed.
 
Witness my hand and official seal at or near Longview, Tennessee,  this 4 day of February
1910.
